Nightingales (1989)

Aaron Spelling had a pretty amazing track record. But among The Love Boat, Dynasty and Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-2000), there was Nightingales. It originally aired as a two-hour television movie in 1988, later returning as a series in early 1989 with some cast changes, including Suzanne Phleshette of The Birds (1963).  They poured on the T&A, showing the nurses changing out of their uniforms, having sex in the medical supply closet and aerobicizing relentlessly.  This brought on massive protests by the American Nursing Association and unfamiliar feelings in an adolescent boy.  Advertisers bailed and the show soon flatlined, despite it's rockin' theme song.
