In 1984, The Go-Go's released Talk Show, which would be their last album for almost two decades. The lead single Head Over Heels just missed the top ten. Their follow up single Turn To You barely made the top 40, signaling a decline for the girls. The song was about band member Charlotte Caffey's then-boyfriend. The band broke up after touring for the album. For the video, The Go-Go's perform at a 60's teen dance dressed in men's clothes as well as portraying party guests. An up-and-coming Rob Lowe appears as a partygoer as well. The video was co-directed by Mary Lambert, who helmed several of Madonna's videos.

Greystone Mansion is a popular filming spot. The Bodyguard (1992) and Ghostbusters 2 (1989) were also filmed here. While usually just the grounds are open to the public, occasionally, they allow visitors to visit the interior.
