Being a huge Brady nerd, I remember reading the groovy, out of sight news in Entertainment Weekly about The Brady Bunch Movie being in production. Then I saw it was being released for another eight months! It was an eternity in the pre-internet days. Finally the sunshine day arrived and I booked to the theater with a bunch (pun intended) of thirty-year-olds. I was glad to see they crammed as many references to the original show as they could. Gary Cole should've gotten an Oscar for his dead-on portrayal of Mike Brady. And lets hear it for Eric Nies still being able to book work three years after his Real World season on MTV.
