2013 rolled around and there was no mention of a 35th Anniversary Convention. The 25th and 30th had been announced a year in advance so I was getting kind of worried. The news finally broke in March that plans were underway for another celebration of the Halloween franchise. By this point, I had met most of the people I wanted to. Some welcome new additions to the celebrity roster were Rick Rosenthal, Dwight Little, Beau Starr, Steve Miner and Adam Hann-Byrd. Previously I had glossed over Halloween III (1982), which until recently before the convention I had never even seen. I ended up loving it, so I started getting the script cover page signed. There was also nice representation from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), my least favorite sequel, so I grabbed those autographs as well as starting an autograph collection for Halloween: H20 (1998).

Despite my hatred for having my picture taken, I threw caution to the wind, with my newfound appreciation for Halloween III (1982) and a heavy presence for Halloween 5 (1989)...
Capping off the convention was a visit to the filming locations. The 35 Years of Terror tour was easily the best out of the three conventions. Once again fans were treated to luxury buses. And unlike previous tours, where people went in different directions, everyone went together this time, lead by filming locations guru Sean Clark...

Next year marks the 40th Anniversary of Halloween. With the recent announcement of Jamie Lee Curtis appearing in the new movie, it seems like 2018 is going to be a huge year for the franchise. One would hope 40 Years of Terror is in the making. There are still a few people I would love to meet like Sandy Johnson, Ana Alicia, Paul Rudd, and of course, Wade from Halloween 4. The timing is primo for another convention.
