Elf (2003)





Elf is a hilarious fish-out-of-water story about an elf who finds out he's actually a human.  Buddy makes the trek from The North Pole to New York City to meet his father and to help restore holiday cheer while asking that most important question - What's YOUR favorite color?

The Pinebank Arch is near W62nd & Central Park West.  While there are some rock formations around the arch, none seem to match what is seen on film.  It's possible some fake ones were added by production...




Part of the area was blocked off by fencing so I couldn't line it up exactly but you can see the tilted tree is still there...
