Dexter (2006-2021)

Among the wave of anti-hero television series debuting in the '00s, Dexter is perhaps one of the most notable. Florida is no stranger to homicide but Miami-Dade county's most wanted are quietly dispatched thanks to vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan.  A great supporting cast and colorful array of locations and criminals added to the series' lifeblood, even though the last few seasons had me seeing red.

Paula Abdul - Rush, Rush (1991)

LA Laker cheerleader turned dance pop princess Paula Abdul hurriedly rose to the top of the charts once again with Rush, Rush.  The lead single from her Spellbound album ended up being her biggest hit.  The video is a straight up ;-) homage to the classic film Rebel Without A Cause (1955) with Keanu Reeves in the Jim Stark role.

On a cross country trip back in '07, I stopped off in James Dean's hometown of Fairmount, Indiana to visit a museum dedicated to his, the farm where he grew up and his gravesite...
