Freestyle music emerged from the boroughs of New York City in the early 80s. It crossed over into the top 40 a few years later with Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Company B. and The Cover Girls. One group to achieve great success was Exposé, a Miami trio consisting of Jeanette Jurado, Gioia Bruno and Ann Curless. Incidentally, none of them were original members but became the lineup just before they recorded their breakthrough album. Exposure spawned four top ten singles, with Seasons Change reaching number one. In the video, the girls are shown packing up their summer rental while reminiscing. And no beach house should be without... a harp and grand piano? Well, it was the decade of excess.
