When the Crain family moves into Hill House, they begin to experience paranormal events. The supernatural powers of their abode haunt them well into adulthood. The Netflix series is loosely based off of Shirley Jackson's novel and was critical smash. Of particular note is the direction of episode 6, which consisted of only 5 long takes! Season 2 will see the haunting of Bly Manor.
