Nashville (2012-2018)

Rivalry takes center stage on Nashville as country music legend Rayna James finds herself fast-approaching her sell by date as newcomer Juliette Barnes' star begins to shine brighter.  Throw in some inspirational country tunes, an array of catfights and a string ;-) of soap plots and it's no wonder Nashville was a breakout series of the 2012-2013 season.

I was hooked ;-) during the initial season but my interest began to fade and I checked out by season 3.  I happen to have a few hours to kill when I was in Nashville last summer, so I decided to hit a few of the locations.  I don't own the series on DVD and don't have comparison shots for this post unfortunately.  With the departure of Connie Britton and a move from ABC to CMT, Nashville's popularity has dropped off the charts ;-) and the series finale is set to air in just a few days.

Nashville was filmed in... wait for it... Nashville, TN

Location: Rayna James' House
Address: 1358 Page Road, Nashville, TN

Location: Juliette Barnes' House
Address: 917 Overton Lea Road, Nashville, TN

Very secluded and hard to see from the road...

Location: Deacon Claybourne's House
Address: 619 Boscobel Street, Edgefield, TN

Location: Scarlett & Avery's House
Address: 623 Boscobel Street, Edgefield, TN

Just next door from Deacon's.  Gunnar and Will were also residents...

Location: Highway 65 Records
Address: 706 Church Street, Nashville, TN

Location: The Bluebird Cafe
Address: 4104 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN

I was gonna go in and grab a quick bite, but as you can see, several other people had the same idea.  It's here that Taylor Swift was discovered...

Location: The Parthenon
Address: 2600 W End Avenue, Nashville, TN  Centennial Park

Juliette performs here at the beginning of season two...

Gunnar popped the question to Scarlett by the pond during the season one finale...

Location: Rayna & Deacon's Bridge
Address: John Siegenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

Locations Visited: July 2017
