Snow White and Prince Charming awaken from a thousand year spell and find themselves living in Van Oaks, CA. They try to maneuver from medieval to modern times, working in a department store and construction respectfully. Constantly trying to thwart their success is Snow White's wicked stepmother.
The Charmings was a short-lived fantasy comedy of the late 80s that saw initial success in its Friday night timeslot. It was moved to Thursdays for the second season and even though Snow White and Prince Charming were of different times, they were up against A Different World (1987-1993). The show didn't stand a change in the ratings, which probably left a grumpy cast and crew.
