Rivalry takes center stage on Nashville as country music legend Rayna James finds herself fast-approaching her sell by date as newcomer Juliette Barnes' star begins to shine brighter. Throw in some inspirational country tunes, an array of catfights and a string ;-) of soap plots and it's no wonder Nashville was a breakout series of the 2012-2013 season.
I was hooked ;-) during the initial season but my interest began to fade and I checked out by season 3. I happen to have a few hours to kill when I was in Nashville last summer, so I decided to hit a few of the locations. I don't own the series on DVD and don't have comparison shots for this post unfortunately. With the departure of Connie Britton and a move from ABC to CMT, Nashville's popularity has dropped off the charts ;-) and the series finale is set to air in just a few days.
