Cloverfield (2008)

An intriguing teaser trailer with no title, just a date.  An awesome poster indicating New York is under siege from some thing out of this world.  J.J. Abrams gives America it's own Godzilla movie with Cloverfield.  The found footage flick may be difficult to watch without Dramamine, but sure delivers on destruction, special effects and fear.

If you happen to be in lower Manhattan visiting other filming locations, hop on the Q at Canal Street & Broadway and cross over the Manhattan Bridge just like Rob & Beth did.

In the movie, Rob and his friends attempt to leave Manhattan and head into Brooklyn.  In reality, they are leaving Brooklyn and heading into Manhattan.

After Jason dies on The Brooklyn Bridge, the gang head back into "Manhattan" and stop in front of 548 Spring Street in Downtown Los Angeles, which used to be a Sephora.

Rob then heads into the electronics store to get a battery for his cell phone...

Rob and Beth head toward Grand Central Station, passing Frank Stella Clothiers, an upscale men's clothing store.  In reality, they are heading toward Central Park.

Hud meets his demise in the aptly named Central Park, located about 3000 miles from the Central Park it is portraying.
